Eat Local

Did you know that the average meal travels 1200 km from farm to plate? However, food transport only consists of 11% of the carbon footprint of food. How food is grown makes up another 83% of carbon emissions from food. Organic growing significantly reduces these emissions.

By supporting small-scale, organic and local farms, you are significantly impacting the climate. (In a really good way).

There has never been a time when voting with your fork has been so important. It may seem like a small detail, but changing your route to a farmer’s market, rather than a grocery store can make a huge difference for the future of this planet.
